Update December 26th

Temp is holding at 32F and a mixed bag is falling from the sky today but not enough to do damage to the trails.  To warm to groom so I did a quick 40 mile inspection of the trails and this is what I saw.

I rode from Moffits across Page Street which was in Great shape to Lake Pleasant.  Across the Lake to the ball field.  River Trail is passable but single lane and thin cover.  Village Trails were in good shape but Trail C4 just north of Elm Lake is closed due to home construction.  I called the Town and they will investigate.  C4 from the Village to Oak Mt is not groomed but is frozen in so we will hit it this week.  LP3 from Oak to C4 is in good shape.  C4 from HM104 to Perkins is in good to great shape.  Perkins is a 10+++ from Rt 30 to the Indian Lake Trail.

I came back S41C to S41 to check out the bridge which was out.  The trail is in good shape w/ only a few rough spots.  There is a bypass trail cut next to the old bridge that requires you to cross the creek.  No big deal to get through.  I took S41 to the tree farm and then C4 back along the river to the Village.  The trail is passable but rough and thin.

Cold temps and snow is needed to lock up the base and fill in the thin spots.
